What to expect when you book a session with TFP
A portrait should be an expression of your personality, not just a snapshot. Taking the time to really understand what is is that you are wanting to express and portray, helps me to achieve the best images possible. I usually begin my new client relationship by setting up a meet and greet at a local café or coffee shop. This brief meeting enables both of us to get a feel for each others personalities, and to have a chance to discuss ideas and expectations for your upcoming session. This is where the contract gets signed, the deposit is made, the session is booked, and new friendships begin.
 
I work from my cozy home studio for many of my sessions or your choice of location for an outdoor shoot..  I will even help you locate the perfect setting.  I use high quality lighting equipment such as soft-boxes, reflectors, and off camera studio lights which help create the magic. Before a session begins I like to show my clients, especially children, how some of the photography equipment works so that they are not intimidated by the lighting and set ups. The studio has many props and backdrops that can be used to help create your story . You are also welcome to bring your own props from home to make your session more authentic to your personality. 
 
Once the session is complete, I begin the editing process. I will touch up any blemishes, bruises or scratches on the skin. I also slightly brighten the eyes and softly whiten the teeth if needed. Just enough to enhance your beauty and to make you look your very best. I do not change physical features, I can't fix sunburns or tan lines, nor make noses smaller, or bodies thinner.  I'm a photographer not a magician. LOL I prefer to use lighting and angles to achieve the best look..  It is also up to you to do your part to ensure that you look and feel your very best the day of your session. 12I recommend using one of my very talented professional hair stylist and make-up artists from my team who have made my clients look and feel absolutely stunning, This gives my clients a wonderful boost of confidence that portrays spectacularly in the final image. 

Editing takes about 5-7 days, sometimes less,, sometimes more if it's a big job such as an event.  Once the images are ready, they will be posted onto the website on the Photo Album page into a password protected gallery. You will have your choice of 20 images that are included in your package, and additional images are available for purchase for $10 a piece. Once you have chosen the images you would like they will be available to download straight from the website gallery.

A $25 non-refundable deposit is required upon signing the contract and placing a booking date for a photo session. The deposit guarantees that your date is reserved, and it covers time spent setting up and preparing for your session.
